Sustainability Amidst the Chaotic World Order

"The current global situation is that of chaos with climate change presenting as extreme weather events and conflicts presenting as wars and enhanced threats. All this is a fairly recent phenomenon; however, since humans are bound to follow availability heuristic they feel vulnerable in such challenging times.
Considering the broader perspective, such chaos does not halt the evolution and perhaps the lineage representing the humans from Cyanobacteria is the longest one since the formation of the earth 4.5 billion years back!
If we consider impact of the chaotic world order in the Indian subcontinent, there is likely to be minimal impact; however, if we consider in longer term the picture may appear rather brighter. The formation of the Indian subcontinent is also a fairly recent phenomenon. This is actually a story of continental drift and collision. A part of the supercontinent Gondwana drifted northwards and collided with Asia forming Himalayas and the subcontinent."

"Science has described entrainment based on physical and biological laws.
Entrainment is a phenomenon in which two oscillators interact with each other, typically through physical or chemical means, to synchronize their oscillations.
Oscillating systems can interact with each other in various ways. They can enhance or negate each other's effects (constructive and destructive interference, respectively) or synergize with each other to achieve amplitudes greater than the sum of the two systems (resonance). When two oscillating systems interact, one or both can experience an alteration in frequency to become phase-locked, meaning that the phase difference between the two oscillating systems remains constant in time and is robust to perturbations.
This situation is called entrainment."

"I lived at Sevagram for 33 years. Sevagram is next to Deekshabhoomi at Nagpur where Babasaheb with approximately 400,000 of his followers embraced Buddhism on 14 October 1956.
One day on 14th April 1994, I happened to travel to Gadchiroli to resume my rural medical service by a state transport bus. On the way the bus stopped at Hinganghat where a Qawalli was being played. The words have been ingrained in my mind since then. They were in Marathi and may be translated as follows, "Bhim ji asked us to accumulate our strengths and advised us to use the same at appropriate time when we become strong. At that time, we should be so strong that our words and actions should appear like Roar of a Lion!"
I personally believe that we may use this message at all levels- personal, departmental, Institutional and National.
Accumulate your strengths and then roar like a lion!"
The Secret of Personal Gains/Losses

"I wonder if the Secret of contemplation, execution and receiving can be explained scientifically!
The book "Secret" explains that we have to desire something strongly and the universe conspires to give it to us.
Same has been explained in the "Alchemist". How does that happen?
The Universe was created after BigBang and it still keeps on growing.
The Second law of Thermodynamics explains that at the level of cohesiveness, lesser randomness and thus lesser Entropy is seen and as the randomness increases more entropy is observed."
